Golf with a Purpose

What an amazing year it has been! The Triumph Modular team is extremely pleased with all of the challenges and successes recorded in 2013 and we want to share them with you. We would also like to take this time to thank our readers for their constant support and engagement on our blog, and social media profiles. We look forward to an amazing 2014!

National Building Museum Exhibit

Triumph Modular together with Perkins & Will were honored to have an opportunity to exhibit the Sprout Space Classroom as part of the National Building Museums Green Schools Exhibit, in Washington D.C.. The Museum’s Green Schools Exhibit has been a tremendous success and the exhibit of the modular classroom allowed the Triumph team to further display its competency in the modular building space. Also, the Modular Building Institute included a tour of the Sprout Space Classroom at the National Building Museum on June 28th, 2013 as part of their two-day Modular Construction Summit, which was also an honor.

GSA Vendor Award

In 2013, Triumph Modular was able to reach an exciting and important milestone as we were the recipient of the GSA Multiple Schedule Award. This new partnership, which took a full year to complete, allows us to expand our marketing efforts aimed specifically toward federal agencies by educating them about the potential applications for modular buildings and their advantages.

About the GSA: The GSA is the primary agency of the U.S. Government tasked with developing best price buyer’s contracts to maximize the value and minimize the costs associated with procurement for all government agencies.

Acton Housing Project – Whittlesey Village

In July 2013 the Acton Housing Project was officially completed. The 12 unit project consisted on 38 different modules and had 15,000 square feet of living space.

This modular construction project was able to save the town of Acton time and money and achieved a LEED Gold certification! The success of the project was also noted in a Boston Globe article.

Big thanks to Gregg Kelly, Director of Construction Services, and the rest of the hard working construction services team.

David H. Koch Childcare Center at MIT

This M.I.T. based childcare center was completed in October 2013 and accommodates approximately 126 infants, toddlers, and preschoolers, and will provide them with a safe and healthy learning environment.
The goal of this space was to double the capacity of the existing program, and we are happy to report that this project was a success in doing so!

Modular Building of The Week

In August 2013, Triumph and Perkins & Will were recognized winners of the “Building of The Week” award, by Modular.org. It’s always a great honor to be recognized by your peers for the work you do. Big thanks to the Modular Building Institute.

This was an exciting year and we look forward to a great 2014! Please feel free to ask us questions about any of our past and future projects.
