The Architecture Boston ABX Trade Show Success!

ABX is one of the largest events for the design and construction industry in the country. Here at Triumph Modular, we are considering our attendance and exhibit at ABX this year a complete success! We very much enjoyed the new venue and found the Boston Convention & Exhibition Center to an excellent place for a convention.

The Action-

The show floor was very active with lots of people bustling about, eager to take in everything ABX had to offer. Packed with interesting people of all sorts, we had no problem finding the right people to talk to about modular construction. We found great a mixture of developers, architects, and architect students and were so happy to share our story and to talk modular with all of them.

The educational sessions were great, both intriguing and informative. They were dynamic but also engaging enough to encourage active participation from the audience.

Talking Modular-

Guest speakers Peter Papesch, Ryan Smith, and Chuck Savage did an excellent job capturing and conveying the real advantages of off-site construction. It was great to see people interested in modular design. Ryan Smith’s presentation was fabulous. He relayed a captivating story that highlighted the potential future impact that modular construction can have. Smith really hits home with his message of team, type and place as the decision drivers to go modular on any given project.
The After Party-

To wrap up such a terrific couple of days, Triumph Modular hosted a get together at Morton’s Steak House. We were delighted that so many people attended and it was great to see both new and familiar faces. Modular enthusiasts Ryan Smith and Bob Kobet joined us and were nice enough to give a brief speech about their experiences. Ryan was also giving away copies of his book “Prefab Architecture”, which offers insight and a better understanding of the modular industry. Everyone seemed to enjoy themselves and it was a nice ending to the days.

We’re so happy that ABX was such a success and grateful to all the people who came out to learn about modular construction and attend the after party. Overall, the experience was a positive one and we’re looking forward to next year!
