2016 ESPN Broadcast Village – First Place Relocatable Modular Special Use over 10,000sq. feet
In 2015, ESPN took over the broadcast rights for the US Open tennis tournament. The USTA has been running our nation’s most prominent tennis outing since 1920. ESPN wanted new facilities that would meet their needs to provide its world-class brand of coverage of the event. They chose Triumph Modular in 2015 for a multi-year engagement.
The requirements of putting on this “show” are intense relative to the schedule and the overall gravity of the production. The ESPN Broadcast Village started with a two-story broadcast media complex of 15,000 square feet and a single-story building of 8,000 square feet. The needs of this client and who they host are ever-changing and dynamic. The electrical and mechanical requirements for broadcasting are highly specialized and complex, requiring effective teaming and collaborative efforts to accomplish the project goals. Triumph Modular’s solution is a building designed for quick installation and easy removal every August for the US Open. See more on the ESPN Broadcast Village project.
2014 Acton Housing Authority – First Place Permanent Commercial Housing over 10,000sq feet
Acton Housing Authority project comprises six two-story buildings containing twelve living units utilized as affordable housing. Designed with a sustainable focus, the modular construction project had an original goal of attaining LEED for Homes Silver Certification. Through design recommendations by the Triumph Modular Construction Services team and the A&E design team, coupled with modular construction methods which minimized waste through material efficiency, the project exceeded original expectations and achieved a LEED Gold Certification.
The project broke ground in September 2012 and was completed in July 2013. Resulting in a well-planned and executed affordable housing community in the town of Acton, Massachusetts, that provided homes for those in need. Further proof that green modular construction can be an affordable solution for a housing project. See more on the Acton Housing Authority project.
2011 & 2012 Harvard Yard Childcare Center – First Place and Best of Show Green Building
Triumph Modular designed, built, and installed an innovative 5,700 square-foot childcare facility on the campus of Harvard University in just six weeks. For the next 18 months, the Harvard Yard Child Care Center operated in the building Triumph Modular provided while its permanent location was undergoing renovations.
The building features a variety of green, sustainable features to achieve the highest-quality, healthy environment for children. A focused design and construction plan for maximum energy efficiency includes solar tube skylights to maximize natural light use, sustainable “Green Guard” insulation, high-grade sealants, and a white rubber roof reflecting solar heat. “When you walk inside, there is an immediate sense that this is a healthy environment. That’s a good comfort for parents and staff.”, said Peter Anderson of Anderson and Anderson in San Francisco, designers of the Harvard Yard Child Care Center. Triumph Modular was proud to construct a healthy, bright space for these young children, even if it was only a temporary one. See more on the Harvard Yard Childcare Center project.
2010 North Andover Early Childhood Center – Honorable Mention Permanent Education over 10,000 sq. feet
The new 13,000-square-foot home of the Preschool CUBS Program in North Andover, Massachusetts, opened for tours in mid-June and welcomed students in September for the 2009 school year. Triumph Modular worked with the town of North Andover to create a customized space with their specific design requirements, such as 10-inch toilets and sustainable features such as white roofing, energy recovery ventilators, and microbial (mold resistant) drywall to give the students an optimal learning environment.
In just six short months, this school went from concept to completion, proving that modular solutions are an effective, efficient, high-quality, and permanent method for building schools and additions. Triumph Modular provided a healthy new space where students can learn and thrive for many years to come. See more on the North Andover Early Childhood Center project.
2008 Carroll School Smart Space- Lincoln, MA – First Place Green Building Design

After years of brainstorming and partnership, the building won international acclaim and top honors for green modular design by the Modular Building Institute.
Speed, Sustainability, and Savings – that is what Triumph Modular achieved for the educators, students, and the Carroll School. The classroom was designed to achieve certification under the LEED rating system. The innovative classroom provided its occupants with an exceptional learning environment with natural lighting, higher air quality, and enhanced acoustics while being sensitive to energy consumption and the natural surroundings.
