Town of Ayer DPW Administrative Offices
Permanent Modular Construction
The town of Ayer, Massachusetts, sought modular construction as a space solution for permanent town office space. Our customer wanted an industrial aesthetic for their Public Works building. The exterior of the building features a unique sloped roof presentation and custom siding arrangement with a mix of corrugated and smooth metal panels. A separate foyer module with a storefront provides controlled entry for public access and a weather lock. The foundation design allows the entry and exit to grade directly onto concrete walkways and within ADA compliance. The interior of the building is a mix of open concept with private offices and conference space. The exposed ductwork adds to the industrial design while creating a higher ceiling, lending to the open concept of the space.
